Nicolas Cage gives a performance that invites audiences to lay cynicism aside.. Desperately needs a more centered, consistent performance from [Cage].. This movie is an epic action movie that I believe in a few years from now shall be more appreciated than it is today !!. A movie can have a superb story, amazing cinematography, and mesmerizing writing as well as directing, but without the talent to deliver it all, it finds itself lacking. Great!!. Yes, this movie is schmaltzy -- but ... so what?...
