The movie spins out of control, until it collapses in a heap, senseless.. My personal rule of film enjoyment goes a little like this: you can be miserable or pointless, but you can't be both. Sucker Punch works hard to be both.. Map! Fire! Knife! Key! (Well, eat drink man woman to you too, honey.). So thoroughly labored, and panders so relentlessly to adolescent attitudes and fantasies, and is so thoroughly and stridently humorless, that it kind of sucks out your soul while you're watching it.. ...
